Wow… life has been hectic this year and we’re only two months in! Thankfully, though the craziest part of my life for the last few years is about to end.
For those of you reading this who don’t know, for the last three years, I have been studying to get my bachelor’s degree. In 5 weeks, I will be completely finished. For good. Forever. I actually cannot believe it! If you’re wondering, my degree means that I will be a qualified teacher here in New Zealand. =D I’m so excited!
So as of 5 weeks from now, my schedule shockingly frees up and I will actually have time to devote to my writing once again. My brain doesn’t seem to have a concept of waiting, though, as I am constantly pondering new ideas, how to refine parts of Hybrid and Broken, new depths for my characters, etc. They just keep popping up and I have to jot them down so I don’t lose them, but I can’t follow the thread because of my study obligations.
We’re two months into the year and life isn’t slowing down. As of this week, I can feel autumn coming and it is exhilarating! (my fave season is a toss up between Autumn and Spring). The changing of the leaves is something I look forward to every year, so keep an eye out for my posts on Instagram! You’ll be inundated soon enough! =D
A super short little update this week, almost not worth mentioning except to say I’m still here, still alive, and still writing. (Though will be writing more soon!)
Here are some shots of my summer here in New Zealand… enjoy!
As always, do what I’m not and go write something!
